Thia Megia is a Filipino and was raised in the USA, and was the strong contender in this year American Idol 2011. She is 16 years of age and still igniting to the max as she amazed the judges saying that she has a big voice at her young age. From thousands of people who auditioned and dreaming to become an idol, Thia made to top 12 as she sang her chosen song of birth " Color of the wind" .
Thia sang " Chasing Pavements" when she auditioned in California and was fortunate when judges says she could be a great singer with perfect tone and pitch.
